Anyone got an answer for this little problem? (apologies if it has already been posted)
At the end of the specification document DGT state: Radiation emission: <= 0.18 uSV/h - which equals 1.5mSv/year This exceeds the maximum allowable level by 50%... and we can see the device is lead shielded - so this is what gets through the lead, apparently. Maximum acceptable dose for the public from any man made facility: 1 mSv/year Source "Radiation and Safety" International Atomic Energy Agency.
