I tried to get a Version of 'Tex the World' that works with Firefox ver9 but there is none.
From: Charles HOPE Avital Oliver wrote a lightweight browser plug-in for Firefox which renders LaTeX equations, called TEX <http://thewe.net/tex/> THE WORLD. It has since been ported <https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mbfninnbhfepghkkcgdnmfmhhbjmhggn> to Google Chrome. It scans every web page for equations between [; and ;] and renders them automatically.
