I don't know if such hoaxes are good for amateur science, or bad. As with
the "Mylow motor" FE hoax on youtube, it urges everyone to avoid
self-delusion and to pursue solid proof. But at the same time, it
destroys trust, triggers suspicion, and might end up drawing ridicule for
all genuine projects which are similar. In other words, things would be
different today if the Wright Brothers weren't forced to take their demo
show to France in order to attract the press.

Looks borderline-feasible at a few hundred watts drive power. But the video
is full of suspicious stuff. Why make such an elaborate detailed hoax?
Perhaps it's a viral publicity campaign?
