BTW, after watching that great video I viewed another selection from the dump.com site: http://www.dump.com/plasticoil/ Efforts of a scientist who wants to convert discarded plastic back into petroleum products. Looks very promising to me. The scientist stuffs a white square box full of all forms of discarded plastic. I don't know how much energy is consumed to complete the process but apparently petroleum/oil comes out of the other end - and no CO2 or very little is produced in the process.
