It called a bipolar disorder. When depressed nothing happens at all. At worst, bipolars don't bother to get out of bed to relieve their selves. When in the manic stage ideas spring forth in an endless unrelated sequence. If you try to follow a manic you will become depressed. When you awake the next day; perhaps you will blow off in a fit of mania. Its fun being manic. So much fun, in fact, why bother to take your medication.
Lithium is very effected treatment. They found this out from 7 up. It originally contained lithium and surprisingly cured manics. If you ready carefully you will understand that he is telling a lot. I had a manic call me once. After a 30 minute tie raid, I wanted to tell her that I need to go to the bathroom. There was no pause. So I put the phone down, went to the bathroom. Washed up. Got a drink of water, When I returned to the phone she was still talking and did not even realize I had gone. I now am very thankful for caller ID.
