Wow .... Your audacity and chutzpah in saying this is a wonder to behold.
Indeed the biggest load of manmade baloney I have ever read.

If I do not make the rules, neither do you. In fact, we have the rules in
place. It's Rule 2, which you have often invoked to bully others like Mary
Yugo. Now, I am not defending Mary Yugo at all. I think she/he was in
violation of Rule 2 and should be banned. And yet, here you are in clear
violation of Rule 2 and yet you somehow believe you are above the law and that
Rule 2 does not apply to you. If Bill Beatty wants to change the rule to "an
informal place for old friends to gab"; then I will accede to his wishes. But
that is not something he has done or something you can decide unilaterally
based on your desires and wishes. You are not above the law in this forum.

You feel no obligation to moderate your incessant off-topic posts because you
do not value this forum as much as I and others do. Just go ahead then, and
drag this useful forum down the pits.

It's amazing, The rulebreaker tells the one who follows the rules to shut up.

Just because you and Jed like to discuss a myriad of these off-topics does
not make it right.

On the contrary, whatever the members here decide to discuss is fine, as long
as it is scientific or technological. We define what is on-topic. The only
person who can veto a topic is Bill Beaty. He rules with a light hand. You are
not him.

I have been the only one who have been vocal in criticizing these off-topic
posts for good reason.

I do not think your reasons are good. More to the point, if you are the only
one who is criticizing, then you are outvoted. You lose. Drop the subject.

It is quite selfish for both of you and Jed to incessantly engage in these
activities to the detriment of others who find Vortex-l to be a useful place to
advance Cold Fusion knowledge.

I disagree. In any case, I don't care what you think, and I have no intention
of stopping.

I have said this before both publicly and privately to the guilty parties .
. .

Yes, you did. We do not consider ourselves "guilty." I, for one, feel none of
the "sense of duty" you appealed to. You will recall I told you:

"Vortex is an informal place for old friends to gab. Mostly about cold
fusion. If you do not like it, start your own group or join CMNS."

I pointed out that Bill is in charge. If you have a complaint, bring it him.
Not me. I tell you plainly, for the last time: I do not care what you think and
I will not heed you. Do not waste your time discussing this with me.

If you do not wish to read my messages, please add my name to your kill-file.
