Peter Mobberley was scheduled to present information from Piantelli, but Paintelli called at the last minute and asked him to withdraw. No presentation, no poster session. This is quite disappointing. It makes him not much different than Rossi to me, with the difference that nobody appears to know exactly what's the status of his current research and development progress due to lack of transparency (especially since most of the available unofficial information about him and his team is about raising funds. Sad but true). My impression from the last "The Atom Unexplored" conference in Turin was that he hasn't very good results yet, though. Also he doesn't appear to have commercial backing from very large companies or entities as far as I know.
This will probably sound harsh but as an outsider I can't help but feel that if it was for Piantelli alone, Ni-H LENR technology exploitation / commercialization would still be 20 years away or more.
