As I previously reported here at vortex-l, Bob is claiming no coil is required. This video demonstrates it. I think it also places in serious doubt the ring electromagnet hypothesis<http://pesn.com/2012/08/24/9602167_Noble_Gas_Plasma_or_Aluminum_Ring_Electromagnet/> posited by Sterling Allen. However I didn't see any retraction of that hypothesis associated with Sterling Allen's presentation of this video.
