If incorrect, there is perhaps not too much to worry about. However, most commercial sources of nickel carry a low level of cobalt, of the order of 1 weight percent. For many non-nuclear engineering purposes this is of no consequence, nickel and cobalt being sufficiently similar chemically and metallurgically.
