All arguments against global warming are stupid, for 2 reasons. 1: Claiming that there is a conspiracy by scientists against the biggest companies in the world (oil companies) and for no reason I have ever heard seems highly implausible, what is the motive. It is hard to think of an analogy that is so implausible. Follow the money.
2: If there is no global warming then going green will still be good for the environment and it will eventually pay for it's self. It is good to be conscious of and respect the earth. But if it is real, if man is the prime cause or only a contributing factor then failing to act could lead to the end of the world as we know it. So if you are going to ignore it, you better be damn sure. Arguments against global warming being real always strike me as to self serving, too much like wishful thinking, to much like a pack a day smoker saying smoking is good for you. If you hold out for those scientists that say there is no global warming you will find evidence for the belief you want to have, but there were doctors who were assuring people smoking didn't cause lung cancer too. They died of lung cancer, but with global warming we all go down because some people would rather live in a fantasy world. Hey, I sure hope there is no global warming, but no one has that evidence.
