The Apollo 8 image of Earth has oft been cited as a turning point in our awareness of the global village we share. That's why I chose to use that photo on the cover of the History of Cold Fusion Calendar, because it anticipates the paradigm-shifting technology that we hope will alter our human direction towards a larger perspective.

During the Apollo missions, we were looking at an image of ourselves, remotely making an image of ourselves.

Local spacetime disappeared hasn't been the same since.
