Obama emphasized energy again in the Inauguration Address. Saying, for example:
"We will respond to the threat of climate change, knowing that the failure to do so would betray our children and future generations. Some may still deny the overwhelming judgment of science, but none can avoid the devastating impact of raging fires, and crippling drought, and more powerful storms. The path towards sustainable energy sources will be long and sometimes difficult." As much as I support alternative energy, it galls me when I hear Obama say that. I just wish there was some way we could bring cold fusion to his attention. If we could have 0.01% of plasma fusion funding it would do wonders. Alas we are drowned out by the noise from others, and by the skeptics. Energy was a large part of his Recovery and Reinvestment act.
