Surface magnetism and unusual low temperature conductivity of RuO2

... at very low temperatures the resistivity of RuO2 is extremely low, it
is possibly the “best” normal metal, but the situation is complicated by
the fact that results are difficult to reproduce. Possible explanations,
based on electronic structure calculations will be discussed.
