Cold fusion will be save roughly $2,500 per person, per year, or ~$10,000 for a family of 4. The voters will demand it. That kind of money will produce overwhelming political pressure. Any elected official who opposes rapid implementation is sure to lose the next election. I do not think any government could resist it. I expect the fossil fuel companies will fight it, but they will quickly lose. - Jed
