You are describing the life of any researcher, including all the cold fusion researchers I know. As Stan Pons said, if we are even half right that's reason to celebrate in this business. Most of the time you are all wrong. The plasma fusion people I met at MIT seem to be enjoying their lives and their work. They are arrogant. They do not seem to have a sense of futility. They are not living lives of quiet desperation. They are sitting pretty, pulling down $25 million a month from Uncle Sam. That's an accomplishment! Sort of. - Jed
