As the ol' timers know, I've been pushing the concept that subatomic
'particles' are dipole-like oscillations of the vacuum.  The electron-hole
is the opposite node of what we call an electron. the dipole-like
structure/oscillation is a simple, physical model/explanation for why
fermions have half-integer spin, the Pauli Exclusion Principle, and a number
of other things. so in the article, the antimatter part would be akin to the
electron-hole. if your instrumentation is sensitive enough and with a fast
enough 'shutter speed', you might be able to catch the two antisymmetric
nodes.
