Looking closely at the condition of the equipment and uniforms, it's clear that these people would not fare well in a direct conflict. Did you notice the trackball mouse and the toggle switches on the control console in the first piccy? These poor people are living with 50's tech still. Their uniforms are inconsistent and their boots have holes in them.
They could really use some change.
