I don't understand well that remark, but maybe is it relative to the usual
remarks people do today "too good to be true".

Taleb explain that the concept of "sour grape" is just for people having no
chance to get far from home, to imagine that anything far is bad.
In fact he claims there are sweet grape, and that you just have to avoid
eating the sour grapes. (optionality).

today we have so much lost our capacity to innovate, because of
"administrated science", and that many people imagine that anything new is
evil, anything unexpected is dangerous.

post modernism... a mix between human egocentrism, megalomania, fear of
change and depression.
