There seems to be a logical contradiction in the W&L theory that LENR is a weak force based reaction. Then this W&L theory depends of neutron production to get through the neutron barrier.
Why not get through the barrier directly through EMF coulomb barrier penetration. LENR leaves the nuclear ash produced stabilized which would not be possible if neutrons production was involved. However, if EMF mediation weak force LENR influence was afoot unstable radioactive isotopes would be stabilized as a result of the reaction.
