Axil, interesting speculation but I only see LENR as the power source for the microwaves feeding the EM drive. The tapered microwave cavity is CLOSED -the system is a Faraday shield and a magnetically transparent window would release the working medium.

The Ni/H reaction chamber could be formed into a parabolic shape that is fashioned from a superconductor. The purpose of this superconductive is to reflect and redirect strong dipole and anapole magnetic fields that come off the LENR reaction in a direction toward a magnetically transparent window. A metallic glass could be used to form this window in which a magnetic field can be transmitted while keeping the hydrogen reaction gas contained. Such metallic glass has a relative magnetic permeability of 1,000,000. Other reactor components that hold the nickel powder could also use the metallic glass to enable free transmission of magnetic fields out of the reaction chamber. Unlike microwaves that vibrate at a frequencies below the frequency of the deep infrared, The LENR space reactor would convert matter directly into propulsive coherent infrared EMF radiation based on the most efficient direct matter to energy relationship, E=Mc2 relationship.
