It's the irises that intrigue me. They are larger than normal, like those
that belong to a baby or very young child. Of course the color is a tad
different! 

 

Just speculating here... there has been some talk that if Homo Sapiens
continue to evolve there's a possibility that we will continue to carry over
additional child like physical traits into adulthood. The rounder face, and
larger irises would be additional extensions of physical child like traits.
The implication is that this photo could possibly suggest what we might very
well look like 10k - 50k years from now.

I agree. I don't buy the missile explanation at all.

 

PS: Nevertheless, I love the photo of the "alien", regardless of the fact
that common logic and rationality suggest it's nothing more than a clever
fake. I learned long ago that it is often best not to pass judgment on the
sources of most myths. All the really matters to me is whether the myth
evokes my imagination. IMHO, that's what a damned good myth should do!
