I do not know what it is. There is a disconnect because Hadjichristos told
me they will not allow any test except under and NDA, and they will not
publish a test at this time.

I myself have no interest in going. If they already have reports on file
written by experts, let them publish one. Why spend more money or time on
it? I have spoken with some of the experts who went. They are under NDA so
I cannot ask any specific questions, but they seemed unimpressed. Maybe the
results have improved. The video was impressive, but I would have to spend
several days noodling around with the system before I fully believe it.
Either me, or someone else preferably more skilled than I am needs to wring
it out and answer the kinds of questions that have occurred to Beene and to
me, and that will occur to anyone who devotes serious attention to the
video. The video raises more questions than it answers. There is nothing
wrong with that! That is the nature of a demonstration. It is more of a
taste than a meal.

The obsesssion with an independent test became a strong meme

It is in every field of experimental science. Replication is the only
standard of truth. I am not holding Defkalion to a higher standard or a
different standard than I hold Mizuno, Storms, McKubre, Arata or anyone
else.

However surely you will see independent test.

Maybe. I will believe it when I see it. Defkalion has made many claims and
many promises in the past they did not fulfill. They did not break any laws
by doing this, but they did hurt their own credibility.

Rossi also said many strange things and made what appear to be exaggerated
claims about his business, such as the claim that he would begin mass
production soon, and that he knows a way to isolate Ni isotopes cheaply.
However, Rossi also allowed an independent test by Levi et al., so he has
credibility despite the strange things he says. If Defkalion publishes a
test I will still have doubts about their Ni claims and the 30 machines
they supposedly had years ago, but I will believe their present machines
work as claimed. It would not be hard to establish this. A week or two
should do it.
