You misunderstand. Perhaps you have not been involved in start-up companies. I have, so I know how it works. Even if Defkalion has good knowledge of the LENR reaction, they are still likely to fail. They will have to struggle and work hard to succeed. In many start up companies, the people have excellent knowledge of the machine they are trying to perfect. History sometimes shows that the people are best in world by a wide margin, such as Edison or Wilbur and Orville Wright. However much you know it is always an uphill battle. Edison and Wrights fought for years to make their vision real. It wasn't just the technical challenges. They had to fight against banks, investors, competitors, naysayers, the mass media and many others. They were up against tremendous odds. The Wrights has tremendous knowledge about aeronautics, but that did not help them deal with the idiots at the *Scientific American*. Like everyone else who tries to make a breakthrough in unexplored technology, Edison and the Wrights survived mainly on hope, for many years. - Jed
