The Higgs theory validates the Standard model of particle physics by
explaining how mass of the particle zoo is produced. The Higgs theory is
foundational because of this.

To my way of thinking, the concept of the Higgs field is also foundational
to LENR theory because it explains how EMF can reduce the coulomb barrier
by inducing the condensation of vortex based quasiparticles around
topological defects inherent in the condensation in gauge theories.

This paper deals with this subject and when I get time, I will study it
more closely.

Gauge turbulence, topological defect dynamics, and condensation in Higgs
(Yang-Mills theories) models

Please comment, your opinion on this subject is interesting and might well
add to the EMF LENR causation theory.
