Lol!! Gimme a break. People tried to 'opt in' to that system and then they're branded as communists and weeded out in witch hunts. Lordy. Anyways -- this is a shades of grey discussion. If you start discussing it black and white, you lose before you even started. There are levels of socialism which increasingly make more sense. How that socialism is implemented is up for debate, but higher levels of automation are clearly making more and more people irrelevant economically.
