Some new pieces of the LENR puzzle have come to light in the article

Topological light: Living on the edge

Light can follow edge states just like electrons can. Nanoparticles can
form optical and electron resonators as solitons.

These resonators will act as light traps. Light can be packed inside these
resonators and follow a circular path on the inside surface of the soliton.

This closed circular path is called an edge state. This edge state path in
superconductive and loss free for both electrons and light.

There exists a photonic version of the quantum spin Hall Effect where
photonic (pseudo-)spins take the place of electron charge.

As a nanoparticle based LENR device loads light and electrons into the edge
states of the soliton, the spin of the soliton gets huge.

Because of abelian gage field symmetry, I speculate that when this anapole
magnetic field that the spin of these solitons generate is felt inside the
Higgs field within subatomic particles of the nucleus, this anapole
magnetic field rebuilds a pair of vortex based solitons that counter the
charge of the quarks imbedded in the Higgs field.
