Will Chlorine work as well as hydrogen in the Ni/X reactor design?

 

 

Chlorine was claimed to work strongly in a reactor designed to enhance solar
energy recovery (Robert Scragg was the inventor). This was over 30 years
ago. Possibly the gas is too corrosive.
