They are measuring elevated levels of ionizing radiation (Radon, etc.)
along California Beaches (10x in some places).  Attached is a good study
that hit the LA Times this morning. Personally, I don't think it is
Fukushima, I think it is the atmosphere charged up by all of the
"non-ionizing" military and weather doppler microwave radars along the
coast.  Regardless, there is a problem with lots of starfish dissolving,
krill dying, seal pups stranding, etc. and now ionizing radiation.
