It is likely that one fundamental cause does it all: produces the diprotons, through barrier cancellation and spin alignment, and then the mesons to destabilize the strong nuclear force, and after the LENR reaction has occurred, absorbs and thermalized the gamma rays produced by the LENR reactions while simultaneously producing a positive feedback based open-ended reinforcement of the primary mechanism (magnetic field).
