And I suspect that positive feedback magnetic coupling among the sites
associated with the energy release mechanism allows that field to grow to the
high strength level. It seems likely that some systems, such as that of DGT,
need a threshold level of coupling before the positive feedback loop gain
exceeds unity which is required for increasing field levels. This effect may
well be the one that separates the weak power producing devices from those of
Rossi and others.

It seems to me that Ahern’s feeling for magnetic causationof LENR is based on
his experimental experience. This opinion that no nuclearprocesses are involved
is understandable since Ahern has never produce a truehuge magnetic effect in
his experiments.

It also seems to me that there is a spectrum of LENRreactions that is
correlated with the strength of the magnetism produce by thesystem.

High strength magnetism will produce vigorous nuclearreactions, whereas a
relatively week field will produce a borderline effectthat are hard to detect.

I agree. My comments earlier this morning in response to Dave's question are
related to this interview.
