Got a response for Dr. Mills:

 

The cell has a window to protect the PV, and the PV is warranted for 25
years at the rated power.   We are working directly with six manufactures.
They see this as an enormous market opportunity.  These concerns are
nonexistent

 

Randy responded quickly I might add. 

 

It would seem that the destructive power of SunCell technology will not be
an issue. I hope so. Obviously, an actual running prototype running at 2000
reactions per second will have the last word on that matter.

It would appear that PV cells will be protected from potential harm. That is
certainly good. 

 

But, what about the fate of the window device charged with the
responsibility of protecting the PV cells from potential SunCell damage?
Granted, I'll assume that a protective window apparatus is going to be far
less expensive to manufacture. I'll also assume such a window device would
consume far less energy in its own making. It makes me wonder, wouldn't the
window component end up having to be replaced on some kind of a regular
maintenance schedule? Is this possibly an engineering challenge?

 

I look forward to viewing the next demonstrations when BLP gets around to
posting them out on You Tube. My understanding is that the next private
demonstration will be held on July 21.
