I have the latest version of build.sh and setting the http_proxy on ~/.hgrc did not solve the problem. In the output that I sent before checking for votca::tools::ToolsVersionStr in -L$HOME/votca/lib -lvotca_tools... no configure: error I had intentionally written $HOME to substitute the longer message that looked like checking for votca::tools::ToolsVersionStr in -L/share/home/01657/nbenteni/votca/lib -lvotca_tools... no configure: error I did that for simplicity, but it was confusing. In other words, there was no problem with the $HOME variable. Also, sourcing VOTCARC.bash before configuring did not solve the problem. I attached the config.log from the configure run of csg to this email.
