Dear votca users, I could not really solved the error. But I used the boost which was installed in default location. It worked. I was trying to compile votca using the 1.51 version of boost, installed in /opt/apps/boost. Somehow, it failed to compile. But on using boost from the system's default location. It compiled successfully.
