Starting at this past Monday's meeting, nominations are now being accepted for LUGOD's four elected officer positions.
Here they are (along with the folks currently holding their positions): * root (president) Bill Kendrick (yours truly) * sys (vice president) John Reed * typescript (secretary) Andrew Roach * /dev/null (treasurer) Andrew Roach If you'd like to nominate yourself, or someone else (they have to accept, of course) for one or more of the above positions, please send an email to Andrew at: [email protected] Voting will begin at November's meeting. In the likely event that there are positions for which there is only one nominee, we'll simply make a call for objections from the attendees of that meeting.
