I've finally dug around my personal photo set over on Facebook (where I've been instantaneously uploading shots I take at LUGOD with my cellphones), and put up a bunch of LUGOD meetings (plus Jan. 2013's demo at the Co-Op) over at http://www.lugod.org/photos/
Still to-do: some missing presentation slides, and tons of old minutes. (I may just resort to dumping the plain ASCII TXT that I've been getting from Andrew, for example, rather than wasting time trying to HTML'ize things.) PS - Sorry for lack of photo annotations; I was catching up with over 2 years' worth of photos, so I did the minimal amount of work needed. (I actually wrote a little PHP function that finds & <img src>'s photos in the directory, rather than doing all of that by hand, which I normally do.) Now, you may wonder: why not use a proper CMS? I'm too old-school, we've occasionally changed web hosts, CMS software is so often buggy & targets of hacking, and all seemed like too much effort, versus benefit, for the amount of content we get (1 meeting/month). -- -bill!
