Files are FTP'd FROM a Unix box TO an NT server over a Novell network. I import the
files TO an Access database.

Thanks to Jeff, Rod, Christopher, and all others who replied. I'll check the FTP
process, make sure the mode is set to BINARY. If that fails will try those "data
scrubbing" techniques in Access.

I got a quadruple copy of the original message. What's up with that?

I'm not sure what you're saying here. So you're saying you have some
database file produced by some DOS application (which app?) that was
stored on UNIX that has been transfered to a Windows machine with Access?

What format are you using? Comma separated? Tab separated? Some
proprietary format?
