dear all,

my apache server reports that all cgi's are being run from /usr/lib/cgi-bin.

can't find any ScriptAlias or Exec directives in /etc/apache/httpd.conf.
did a search for the word cgi with no success.

where is apache getting "/usr/lib/cgi-bin"? is this something that might
have been compiled into apache?

also, when i had DSL & suse, i set the cgi-bin directory with ScriptAlias.
now, under debian, a ScriptAlias in httpd.conf causes a syntax error.

how can i set the cgi-bin directory? it seems unlikely that a different
version of apache would differ by so much...

thanks!
pete
