For Christmas I got a memory upgrade for my computer. I have installed it in
dimm one and the old in dimm 2.
I have an ASUS 440BX P2B Series Motherboard
Pentium II 350 MRTZ
The Original Memory is a 128MB SDRAMM 100 MRTZ
The New is a 256MB SDRAMM 100 MRTZ
The computer sees 256MB of Memory, but only 128MB from DIMM 1 and 2.
I am thinking that the memory stick is bad, but I just don't know.
When I take out the old 128MB stick I only get 128MB so I am only seeing
128MB of the new 256MB SDRAM. Could I be missing something here.

BTW my box runs allot faster with the added memory, but I want all of it.

I also am not sure how many IDE devices can I run of on one IDE output?
