Definitely. I only need to buy a few parts with you guys: mobo, mem, HD,
CPU heatsink/fan. I'm waiting for a coupon from buy.com for the CPU. I
like to buy cases in-person.
I'd like to purchase the memory this weekend, but I can wait another week.
Memory prices tend to go up in the Spring, I've noticed. I'm thinking of
ordering from http://www.ccraft.net even though their "Add to Shopping
Cart" doesn't quite work in Netscape. Go to "Memory -> PC133" and check
out the price on the 256MB of Micron memory for ~$114. The Friday before
Xmas, it was going for $109 a stick. Shipping is about $9.50 for 1 stick &
$12 for 2 sticks, so having 4 ppl to split the shipping across would be
nice. WARNING: I haven't order from them before. I was thinking of
ordering only for myself and suffering any consequences on my own, but if
I'm ordering with others, I'll go with whoever can come up with the most
trustworthy vendor.
We should coordinate on the other parts also. I haven't been shopping for
the other pieces. If someone can suggest a good & *reliable* place to buy
mobo's, please let us know!
Now this is group buying. :) Mercata.com, eat your heart out.

Yeah, ATX is ATX, so you can recycle. However, the PS is suggested to be
300W. I use 250W myself. microATX is another size that requires its own
case (I think). The K7M or A7M are the ASUS mobos that adhere to this
standard.
