For the upcomming IF We will have an interesting install. This is the base
information, but I am concerned as to if this will work. 8MB ram is a little
small.. This will have to be either a hard drive install or an install from
an existing computer. Any ideas? Has anyone done this who will be available
for the IF?

Rusty --

Thanks for responding. I am considering installing Linux on a Hitachi E133
laptop (Pentium II 133) with 11.3" color STN LCD screen, bus connector port
(though I do not have any expansion devices), RS-232C and external monitor
ports, 25 pin parallel port, 2 PCMCIA card slots (though I have no PCMCIA
devices), removable hard disk (but I doubt if non-hitachi drives could be
inserted), floppy disk drive and a measly 8MB RAM. Please let me know if
you need more information, or if you can already tell one way or another
whether a Linux installation will be possible. Thanks
