my suggestion: don't do it.

you'll end up asking questions about ksh in the future that nobody will know
the answer to except for a few hardcore fans.  none of which, to my knowledge,
are on vox.  they're all in new jersey working for AT&T.  (j/k)

bash is superior in every way for the casual user.

besides, ksh is not free software.  there is an open source package (forget
what it's called--pdksh?) but i have no idea how compatible it is with the
original work.
