my suggestion: don't do it. you'll end up asking questions about ksh in the future that nobody will know the answer to except for a few hardcore fans. none of which, to my knowledge, are on vox. they're all in new jersey working for AT&T. (j/k) bash is superior in every way for the casual user. besides, ksh is not free software. there is an open source package (forget what it's called--pdksh?) but i have no idea how compatible it is with the original work. pete On Thu 19 Apr 01, 4:38 PM, Jay Strauss said: > Does/has anyone know how to install the newly released ksh on linux? > > I can't make heads or tails from the www.kornshell.com instructions > > Thanks > Jay > > Jay Strauss > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > _________________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Get your free @yahoo.com address at http://mail.yahoo.com > -- "Coffee...
