The script makes backups OF floppies ( you can make a  new copy of the disk 
from the backup ), not to them.

I thought /dev/fd0 autoprobes physcal format. Anyway, I ment you could make 
an image of a Mac (HFS) 'PS' (fat12) linux (ext2, minux) formated disk 
because the filesystem isn't taken into account.

I currently use this script to make an image of a floppy I use for work in a 
one of my classes.
