Here are the packages for host and nslookup:
mattrope@poseidon:~$ dpkg -S /usr/bin/host
host: /usr/bin/host
mattrope@poseidon:~$ dpkg -S /usr/bin/nslookup
dnsutils: /usr/bin/nslookup
Are there any other programs that you've noticed missing?
