I just picked up a D-Link AP, and was delighted to find it supported syslog.

However.....

Dec 30 04:17:37 wap Wireless PC connected 00-09-5B-03-3E-05^M

It uses DOS style newlines (0x0D0A) which leave those darn ^Ms.
is there any way I can get rid of them before they hit the log files?
