Be aware that the older EtherPro (not 100) cards do not have such a smooth
record.

Kingston's cards may have been "historically very easy to set up", but the
tulip driver has historically undergone much rework over a fairly long
period of time. While the drivers seem to work well now, they definitely
have a checkered past.

There are both 3com (3c90x) and scyld (3c59x) drivers for 905Bs. The
latter are in the kernel tree, but the former are where the latest cards
from 3com are supported soonest. :)
