[vox-tech] AMD question

hi all,

i've been doing some reading, and it seems like all the AMD motherboards out
there which have a 266MHz FSB don't support DDR ram.

so for the moment, i guess we have to choose between a higher front bus speed
or DDR capability.

is that correct?   does anybody know why?
