Hi: Just one guess: maybe 7.2 looks for ext3 filesystems... and 7.1 is all ext2?
Just a thought... Maybe download the boot disk from 7.1, and use dd to copy the MBR from the floppy (in 7.1 rescue mode)? Suggestions anyone?
