Hello,

I'm currently using Voyage Linux 0.2pre1 on WRAP 2E, Voyage-linux is great but
I have some trouble with wireless and some ideas to do in future versions:
1. I try to use iwpriv with Atheros and got this message "Buffer for request
SIOCGIWPRIV too small (16<88)"
Also same message with many wireless programs.
I think this is because of old version madwifi drivers ...
2. I try to use iwlist with Prism2 card and got: "Warning: Driver for device
wlan0 recommend version 18 of Wireless Extension, but has been compiled with
version 16, therefore some driver features may not be available.." and no scan
working. This is I am sure because of very very old version of Wireless
Extension - 15, there is 27 currently!
Also I got the same error message with Prism2 about SIOCGIWPRIV.
Punky, Please update madwifi, hostap and Wireless Extension to current versions
in future releases of Voyage Linux.
Also please apply to these drivers injection patch from Aircrack suite.

About Ideas:
I think install script should include more optional configurations for
WRAP/4801 boards. For example: CF size storage option - if a user has big CF -
more tools will install, less storage - min tools; RO/RW option(normal system
or with RO/RW); RAM disk option(size configurable).
As for tools, I think is is a very good idea to include such tools as Aircrack
suite(Airodump, Aireplay), Kismet.
As I mentioned above if a user has big CF(or microdrive) it is a good thing to
make normal install without restrictions.
