Given that I've tried three different radios (admittedly all Atheros),
how does that account for the fact that not everyone is having the
problem - or are they? Also, I'm pretty sure I've done down and up
before without a crash (will have to verify that on a couple of the
other boards I have and will let the list know).

I think it is a problem of either madwifi or the chipset and not a
Voyage problem.
