Hi Beat, Did you use vmstat or others in your test to see if the WRAP boxes are CPU bound (i.e. 0% CPU idle)? I have experience that runing iperf client and server would consume all your CPU power. So in my performance test, I don't run iperf on the measured boxed anymore. Instead, I use wget to remote download a big file from another local server.
local-server --- node A ~~~ node B (node A to B is wireless link) I measure node B performance by wget http://local-server/<some big file> -O /dev/null The drawback is, node A would influence the result of the test. WDS bridge, routing, NAT, firewalling setup in node A would affect the performance test result in node B. - Punky On 4/20/06, Beat Meier <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Wang wenjuan wrote: > > > Good, and How about your CPU's frequency? > > Thanks > > > Both sited same: Wrap 2c cpu freq 266Mhz > I have tested the same stuff in lab and it's the same. > If the iperf client is on the ap site the througput is much better! > > Beat > > -- > GMX Produkte empfehlen und ganz einfach Geld verdienen! > Satte Provisionen für GMX Partner: http://www.gmx.net/de/go/partner > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > Using Tomcat but need to do more?
